Michael introduced me to this halter when he was a clinician at the Midwest Horse Fair in I think 2022. I was so impressed with his results that I bought the purple one. My Rocky Mountain mare learned very quickly to respect my space and move away. Now all I have to do is Raise my hand and say back up and she complies.
I also started using the halter instead of a number of different bits that I had tried. She no longer dropps her head and rubs her face on her leg, or shakes her head while riding. She responds so well to this halter that we can do anything a bridled horse can do. We've started lateral work, can do a nice haunches in and trail ride.
I also used the halter on an old opinionated quarterhorse mare who needed to learn a lot of respect. She did, and now is easy to handle.
I bought this new pink halter for my new three year old Rocky because my old one doesn't want to share! Butterfly had been bitted when I bought her but is very difficult to bridle so I decided to fit her with a halter too. Now Butterfly will be in the PINK! and Autumn in the purple.

The changes using the MG Halter sound fantastic! It sounds like it’s helped with communication and respect, and it's great that it’s working so well for training and riding. Love that you’ve got one for each of your horses, thank you!
